City Funding for Beautification Projects

Civic beautification involves the creation and maintenance of landscaping, gardening, and public art features by the City and its residents. It contributes to liveability, enriches public spaces and promotes community spirit and pride. Civic beautification projects are also opportunities for community involvement where residents of all ages, community groups, service clubs and businesses can take ownership of their community. Funding for civic beautification is a measure of the liveability and quality of the built environment, and the City aims to see an upward trend over time.
