City Tax Base

Property taxes are one of the most important sources of revenue for the city and fund many services and programs essential for residents and businesses. The proportions of the tax base that are residential, business and industry is a measure of how balanced the city's tax base is. The City's target is to have 60% of the tax base from residential properties, and 40% from commercial and industrial properties by 2021.
