Transition to Post-Secondary

Individuals with post-secondary education are more competitive in the job market, have better job opportunities, and have higher earnings than a high school graduate. Although higher learning has many advantages, the financial costs of post-secondary education can be a barrier and deterrent for many students. The percentage of students that enrol in post-secondary programs immediately following high school is a measure of educational attainment of Surrey high school graduates.
