Criminal Offences

Criminal code offences include violent crimes (e.g. robbery, assault) and property crimes (e.g. theft, shoplifting, arson) and others (e.g. causing a disturbance). Criminal code offences can cause pain and suffering and lower the quality of life of victims and their communities and drives up security costs. Reducing these offences promotes safer and healthier individuals and communities and reduces property and insurance costs. The number of criminal code offences is a measure of public safety in Surrey. The City aims to see a downward trend in crime. Data source: Surrey RCMP.
