Senior Government Investments in Community Infrastructure

Community infrastructure is the system of facilities that offer opportunities for education, employment, recreation and social inclusion. These physical assets, along with the services, programs, and activities that they house and enable, are the foundation of strong and healthy neighbourhoods. Community infrastructure can be passive, such as parks and trails, or be active, such as art and cultural centres that offer programs and classes. The investments in community infrastructure is a measure of how well community infrastructure is supported, and the City aims to see increasing investment from senior governments over the long term.
