Heritage Sites

Heritage sites are locations having specific Heritage status and included on the Surrey Heritage Register.

Heritage is what we inherit from the past, value in the present, and plan to preserve for the future. Surrey's heritage includes the natural ecosystems, First Nations people, and settlers from many cultures that logged the forests and established farms and communities. Heritage helps to define our unique character and image and is an important component of creating community pride and identity. The number of protected heritage sites in Surrey is a measure of how well natural and built history are being conserved.
