Leisure Access Program Participation

Recreation and leisure helps to improve physical fitness, reduce stress, and contribute to general well-being. Ensuring that residents with low-income have access to City programs helps to ensure that all residents have equal opportunities to enjoy and benefit from recreation, leisure, and arts services. The proportion of low income individuals registered in the L.A.P. program is a measure of how available recreation, sport, and arts opportunities are to residents with financial barriers to access.

For this and other sustainability indicators, see the City's Sustainability Dashboard.
