Rate of Domestic Violence Incidents

The Rate of Domestic Violence Incidents is a representative indicator of the incidence or prevalence of domestic violence in Surrey. It is a count of the number of police files involving an intimate relationship where there is evidence of physical violence or abuse as an associated element. The City aims to see a downward trend in this indicator over time. This indicator is also a performance measure for the Public Safety Strategy.
