Transit Accessibility

An accessible transit system should be designed to be convenient, comfortable, and easy to use for everyone, including the elderly and those with different physical abilities. Bus stops that are accessible are free from obstructions and are large enough to be navigated by those with strollers and mobility devices. While there are some limitations due to grade, utility infrastructure or other obstructions, accessibility of bus stops in Surrey is a measure of how comfortable and accessible the transit system is for everyone.
